Note: Blake Martin was the second student to independently produce his own production outside of the AHS structure (a tradition started with the two Nathan's Fantasticks a year earlier).

Company:
Arlington High School Drama
Director:
Scott Moberly
Original Run:
November 13, 14, 20, 21
Note: Bye Bye Birdie was probably my least favorite high school production I was in. This was due to the fact I generally found the play to be light on depth and theme.
Consequently this led to unfinished parodies such as Bye Bye U.S.S.R. (framing the narrative with nuclear holocaust) and eventually, Nathan's masterpiece Moe Maude (2011).

Note: I strongly recall many elderly patrons praising my physical and vocal performance. Being in the 7th grade and playing a 70 year old, this meant a lot.
Additionally, there was a performance where my posture caused me to choke on my drink, leading to my first improv moment on stage.

Company:

Director:

Original Run:
May 12
Note: This is the first acting role I ever had. What a journey it has been. It being an Irish, child-friendly version of Shrew might seem odd, and you would be right.
I seem to recall there was also a musical number, but I can't remember a lick of it, I was so nervous.
There are many other acting / directing roles besides these such as:
"The Last Ninja" (2004) - director / actor / editor
"An Ordinary Day" (2011) - director
Black Hole Sun (2011) - director/editor/actor
The Eyes Above (November 15, 2011) - editor
Alex Blog #1 (2012) - writer, actor
"The Dictator's Handbook" (2012) - actor
"A Special Message - Senior Assassins" (2012) - actor
"The (Lost) Dexter Parody" (2012) - actor
SlenderNation Podcast (2013 - 2014) - co-host (6 episodes)
"vacation" (2014) - actor
that are not chronicled with their brethren above.
Reasons for this may include: lack of information, failed memory, or disavowment by certain parties involved.
They are listed for historical value.
